Learn the basics of working with different epoxies and resins to add color and interest to your pieces. You will be creating both open and closed back domes and bezels that you can fill with pigments. Resins can be mixed with colors to emulate gemstones or can be used to encase objects. Bring images and decorative paper to pour resin over and materials such as sparkles, beads, dried flowers, powders and spices to mix with resin. Also learn to make a one-sided mold to create 3D pieces of resin.
Experiment with mixing pigment, eye shadow, mica powder, spices, pastel crayons, papers, objects and more into the resin to give it dimension.
