Go beyond “bezel wire” and learn the art of constructing ornamental settings for cabochon gems, or a stepped bezel for larger cabochon and rose cut gemstones in this 2-day intensive workshop. Working with Gallery Wire to create decorative settings, learn to fabricate bezels with the right height and thickness for your gem,  and explore high polish and oxidized finishes to accentuate textures and highlight designs. Students may bring their own gemstones to the workshop (speak with us about required specs first ) – or choose to purchase from a variety of gems from the tutor’s collection. Tool list sent out upon registration includes basic hand tools for jewelry fabrication.

The Studio will provide sterling silver to fabricate in.
