to celebrate all that is beloved in your life in honor of St. Valentine of Rome.  As folklore has it, Valentine was persecuted for officiating the weddings of soldiers who were forbidden to marry and for ministering to Christians, condemned under the Roman Empire. All in the name of L-O-V-E.  Legend holds that, during his imprisonment, he healed the daughter of his jailer, Asterius, and in a letter penned to her before his execution, signed “Your Valentine” as his final farewell – a tradition the Western world retains to this day. And – fun fact! Brazilians recognize the same holiday on June 12 every year – a great vacation idea if you’re feeling extra amorous and want to celebrate your love twice!

At Liloveve Studio, we’re always in the mood for love and will be embracing the holiday with two sessions of our Ring Making Intensive class  perfect for spending the day with a loved one and creating a set of timeless sterling silver rings together.  Or, come solo and create a set all your own: self-love is A-OK!! During the four hour session, you’ll learn basic jewelry fabrication techniques like how to saw, file, and texture your ring with hammers as well as soldering techniques using a torch flame. Choose a high polish, create an oxidized look, or give a brushed finish to your ring. This class is a great introduction to the jewelry metals studio – everything you need is provided! Simply register here!

Gift cards also sold here for these and future sessions!
