The Holidays are in full swing. Whether you’re handmaking your gifts this year, or buying handmade gifts, here are a few fun ideas for putting your own spin on wrapping up your presents.
Wrapping gifts has always been my favorite part of the Holidays. It’s all about presentation – and I love to put as much thought on the outside of the package as I did on the inside.
Here are a few ideas using brown karft paper as your blank canvas. Here are a few of my favorite pins…..
Add felt decorations to your wrapping. Get fancy with a glue gun – make roses with a 1″ strip of felt and roll the bottom and glue and spread the “petals” out.
Use store bought stamps with an ink pad or washable paint. Get real crafty and make your own stamp out of a rubber eraser or a potato (yes, potato) and x-acto knife or wax carving tools.
- Try out this rustic Holiday charm by adding some tree trimmings & taking our trusty hot glue gun to those pine cones. Top it off with some chord.
Use some letter stamps (or handmake it from our trusty potato) with an ink pad or some washable paint to get real personal. Spruce it up with some beautiful ribbons!
Add some pizazz with some metallic sharpies!
